With over 40 years of experience in the financial market, he was Executive President of the following banks: BMG, Itamarati, and UNO-e (a joint venture between the Telefónica de España and BBVA groups). Vice-President of Banco do Estado de São Paulo – BANESPA and FINASA Leasing. In the institutional sphere, he chaired ABBC – Brazilian Association of Banks and was also Director and board member of FEBRABAN – Brazilian Federation of Banks, ABEL – Brazilian Association of Leasing Companies, and FELALEASE – Latin American Federation of Leasing. He is also a partner at AGGREGO Consultores, a consulting company dedicated to the largest Brazilian business groups, associated with Alcides Lopes Tápias. He served as a member of the Board of Directors in several companies. In the cultural area, he is currently president of the Sociedade de Cultura Artística and of the Museum of Image and Sound, in São Paulo. He was also president of MAM – Museum of Modern Art of São Paulo and of the Society of Friends of the Pinacoteca de São Paulo.
With over 45 years of experience in the financial market, acted in positions such as President of Itauleasing, CFO of Chase Manhattan, President of ABEL (Brazilian Association of Leasing Companies), and Vice-President of ABBC (Brazilian Association of Banks). Coordinator of the technical group responsible, together with BACEN, CVM, and the Treasury, for the regulation of securitization in Brazil. Has a degree in Engineering from POLI/USP, and a postgraduation degree from Harvard Business School. Is also a professor at IBMEC’s MBA courses.

Previously, he was CEO of Interservicer, the largest Real Estate Credit services platform in the country. One of the founders of Brazilian Finance & Real Estate, from 1999 to 2012, general director of Brazilian Mortgages and BM Sua Casa, was responsible for structuring and managing more than R$ 10 billion in real estate investment funds, a credit portfolio for individuals and companies and through the network with more than 100 points of sale. From 1991 to 1999, he was a director at BankBoston, responsible for the marketing and product areas of Retail Banking.
